The first stop of the day was La Beautique Salon for some flawless hair and makeup by Dominique. I can’t remember the last time all of a bridal parties hair and makeup were completed on time and total perfection!
Then we were off to Gore Place to get dressed, relax, and take some “first look” images before the ceremony. Everything at this point was totally effortless with ample time for Lindsey and Matt to enjoy some time together and take some relaxed portraits.
The ceremony was full of laughs and tears and then we all went over to cocktail hour where guests were greeted with a variety of tasty treats and libations. Thanks to Cuisine Chez Vous, I now crave lobster grilled cheese on the regular.
We moved to dinner where guests enjoyed beer that Lindsey and Matt brewed themselves and named, “In Love Wit You”. Lindsey said “When we got engaged every home brew we made was a test batch for our wedding beer. (we knew we wanted to brew something). We kept tweaking the recipe – and ended with a nice Wit beer brewed with bitter orange peel and coriander.” Um, YUM!!!! Dancing then infiltrated the dance floor and didn’t stop! We pulled away for a few moments around sunset for a few extra romantic images.
Thank you Lindsey and Matt for having me present during one of the most important days of your lives. It was truly an honor.
